This Privacy Policy describes how the personal data of users of the DannCarros mobile app (bundle identifier com.danncarros.marketplace) is collected, used, and protected. DannCarros is a marketplace for buying and selling vehicles directly between private individuals and sales advisors. We encourage you to read this policy before using the app.

Using DannCarros as a buyer does not require creating an account: you can browse the inventory and contact the owner via WhatsApp without registering or providing us with any personal data. The collection of personal data occurs primarily in the seller/advisor flow (registration and publishing of vehicle listings).

About location: the location permission is optional and is only used, if you expressly grant it, to add an area reference (coordinates or area name) to a listing you are creating. The app does not track your location in the background nor share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your seller/advisor account remains active and for as long as your listings are available on the marketplace. When you request the deletion of your account or of a listing, we delete the associated data from our active systems within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Data from buyers who only browse and make contact via WhatsApp is not stored on our backend.

DannCarros is rated for ages 4 and up in terms of content, but the service is intended for people with the legal capacity to buy and sell vehicles. All communications between the app and our backend are made through standard encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords and session tokens are managed with reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect them against unauthorized access.
