This policy explains how the PulsePlan app
(bundle identifier com.codex.playlist.playlistPlanner) handles information when
you use it. We encourage you to read it so you understand why PulsePlan is a tool built to be
private by default.
PulsePlan is developed and published by [TODO: legal company or developer name] (referred to here as "we," "us," or "the developer"). PulsePlan is a personal planner for music-listening routines: it helps you organize time blocks across days and weeks. PulsePlan does not play music and does not connect to any streaming account.
For any question about this policy or about your data, you can reach us at the address listed in Section 10 (Contact).
All the information you create and edit in the app is stored exclusively in your device's local storage. This includes, for example:
This data never leaves your device on the app's initiative, so under Apple's App Store privacy taxonomy it does not amount to "data collection." PulsePlan never requests or stores passwords, tokens, or credentials for any service.
Opening searches in your browser: PulsePlan includes an optional shortcut to open a web search related to your daily block in the system's external browser (for example, Safari). When you use it, the app simply opens a web address; from that point on, browsing is governed by the privacy policy of your browser and of the website that opens, outside PulsePlan's control. The app does not sign in or play content for you: any playback is 100% manual and under your control.
Exports you initiate: you can export your plan to formats such as JSON, CSV, ICS, or Markdown. These files are generated locally and are shared only if you choose to do so through your operating system's features. PulsePlan does not send these exports anywhere.
Because PulsePlan neither collects nor transmits personal data, we do not carry out any processing of personal data on our side. The only "processing" that occurs is the local storage of your own information on your device, which happens solely so the app can provide its functionality (saving and displaying your plans and preferences). You remain in control of that information at all times.
To the extent any data protection regulation (such as the GDPR) might apply, local storage serves to deliver the functionality you request when using the app. There is no profiling, no personalized advertising, and no sale of data, because no data ever leaves your device.
The only two possible relationships with third parties are unrelated to any collection of data on our part:
If in the future you voluntarily open a search toward a specific web service, that service will apply its own privacy policy, over which PulsePlan has no control or involvement.
Because we collect no data, we retain nothing on servers. The information you create stays on your device for as long as you decide. It is kept until you delete it within the app, overwrite it, or uninstall PulsePlan. When you uninstall the app, the locally stored data is removed in line with your operating system's standard behavior.
Because all your information is stored locally and under your direct control, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, and erasure yourself, at any time and without any intermediary:
We do not need to process these requests because we hold no copy of your data. Even so, if you have questions about your rights or about this policy, you can write to us at the address in Section 10.
PulsePlan carries a 4+ age rating and is not specifically directed at children, nor does it collect data from anyone, including children. Because the app neither collects nor transmits personal information, no data about children is obtained. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, please contact us at the address in Section 10.
Your data stays on your device and benefits from the security and encryption mechanisms your operating system provides (for example, device storage protection). Because no data is transmitted to servers, the exposure surface is significantly reduced. We recommend keeping your device protected with a passcode and up to date with the latest security updates.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. If we make material changes (for example, if any feature that collects or transmits data were added in the future), we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the app itself or the App Store listing. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
